I realize that it's using an post processing AA technique, but you can get the game's textures to look much clearer by turning the texture filtering to high quality. I manage to play a bunch of FPS games pretty well with it on. In any case, I can't play a game that has horizontal tearing in it, so I need Vsync on to be able to see what I'm doing. I think an i5 with a GTX660Ti can handle Vsync ok, especially since it has consistent frametimes, and the adaptive Vsync helps prevent the below 60Hz issue where Vsync halves the framerate and gives you uneven frametimes. It's not really an issue unless your hardware is garbage.

I can see a night and day difference, and it looks like a totally different game to me! If your GPU can handle it, let me know how it looks, compared to default settings, and if it helps the new Ultra textures look any better. I went through my Nvidia control panel and adjusted the following options(I realize they apply to games other than PS2, and because of how PS2 does antialiasing, may not directly affect PS2's antialiasing. I still thought it looked blurry with the new Ultra settings enabled too. I've been playing PS2 for a while now, and I always wondered why it looked so blurry.
